Gender: in general, males drink much more than females. Spring 1998 Spring 1999
Class Level: lower-division students tend to drink more than upper-division students. Spring 1998 Spring 1999
Residency: in general, out-of-state students drink much more than in-state students. Spring 1998 Spring 1999
GPA: students with lower GPAs tend to drink more. Spring 1998 Spring 1999
Substance-free housing: students in substance-free housing tend to drink less and suffer from fewer indirect effects of alcohol use. Spring 1998 Spring 1999
Greeks and Graduate Students: students in Greek organizations tend to drink more than non-Greeks; Graduate students drink the least. Spring 1997
