INTRODUCTION


Hi, I’m ______________ from ___________. My firm has been hired by the University of Colorado at Boulder to ask students about their computer use, and about what types of computers are most popular among students. The university is also interested in finding out about the advantages and disadvantages of students owning or not owning a computer.

Your name was selected at random from a list of CU-Boulder students. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential in that your name will never be associated with your answers.

Is it okay if I ask you some questions about your computer use? It should take about ___ minutes.
