PBA Home > Institutional Research & Analysis > Surveys > Graduate Student Survey Graduate Student Survey - 1997, 1998 and 1999The Graduate School surveys graduating CU-Boulder masters and doctoral students, as part of its North Central's Accreditation (NCA) process. The survey has been administered each term, since fall of 1997, and is distributed to all graduating post-bachelor's students through individual academic departments. Response rates vary widely across departments and schools/ colleges; but the average return rate is estimated to be between 50-60%. The questionnaire addresses such issues as graduate student satisfaction with instruction, faculty interaction, research experience, financial support, and thesis or dissertation advising. Results of the survey for the last three complete cycles are posted in three separate tables per cycle--for masters, doctoral, and for all graduate students:
