Winners of Graduate Student Survey Awards

Four graduate students who completed the Graduate Student Survey were randomly selected to receive $250 cash awards. The lucky winners of the $250 awards are listed below, along with information on their degree programs. Several of them provided further information on their plans for the award.

  • Douglas E. Bevan, a PhD student in Chemistry
  • Alexander M. Brissette, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering
  • Christopher Lai, a master's student in Mechanical Engineering
  • Rosanne W. Polkinghorne, a PhD student in Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences
Doug Bevan plans to use his award for a weekend ski trip to Steamboat Springs.
Alex Brissette may use the award to pay off Christmas credit card debt.
Christopher Lai will use the award to help pay tuition.
