National Survey of Student Engagement 2009

Recipients of the $1,000 Awards

Four CU-Boulder students were randomly chosen as the lucky recipients of the $1,000 cash awards for their participation in the 2009 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). One was a freshman and three were seniors. The names and major programs of the award recipients are listed below. One of them provided further information on his plans for the $1,000 award.

Charles Ballard is currently a freshman in the school of Arts and Sciences at CU. His wife is expecting their first child, and they are going to be using the award money to relocate to a more convenient location to live in the area.
