CU-Boulder's Responses to the U.S. News 2007 NSSE Survey

On May 25, 2007, CU-Boulder was invited to participate in the U.S. News 2007 NSSE Survey, which collects student response data from colleges that administered NSSE in 2006 and is intended to compare student responses over colleges. Please note that U.S. News' comparison information is not yet available, but is expected in August 2007. This site will be updated accordingly.

The following is an excerpt from an e-mail invitation that U.S. News sent to the CU-Boulder Chancellor:

"Five years ago, U.S. News began publishing some schools' results of the National Survey of Student Engagement. This year we are again inviting institutions that participated in the 2006 NSSE to share their results of a small sampling of questions that we think will resonate with college-bound students and their parents.

The information that you provide will not be used in our college ranking formula. What we hope to do instead is illustrate for prospective students and families how their learning experiences might differ from campus to campus, and perhaps introduce them to schools they hadn't known much about before. The data will be published on our website, www.usnews.com, and may be cited in our 2008 America's Best Colleges guidebook, both of which will be available in late August 2007."
