National Survey of Student Engagement: CU-Boulder 2000

The file has worksheets for each of by-institution, by-college, and by-major results. Within each worksheet, a row is a combination of institution, college, or major by student level (freshman, senior) by item or scale. For example, in the by-college worksheet, one row is AS-Humanities, freshmen, item "Worked with other students on projects during class."

Each row reports the item distribution (e.g., percent who said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), mean, standard deviation, number missing, etc.

Within a worksheet, you can select items or scales and see results across AAUDE public institutions (or UCB colleges or majors) or you can select an institution (college, major) and see data for all items.

NOTE: The AAU public institutions are labelled with codes, not names. The codes are the same as those used in the NSSE graphs. We can send the key or translation of the codes only to authorized users at the the University of Colorado at Boulder, and to NSSE-AAUDE liaisons at other participating institutions.
