CCHE Quality Indicator System (QIS)

Reader's Guide
Indicators are either
State requested -- that is, mandated by CCHE for all institutions
Local -- specified by the institution itself
There are up to four levels of detail for each indicator, plus the overview
of CU-Boulder performance that spans all indicators.
- The summary level lists only the indicator description and evaluative
statement. Each listing is linked to the relevant details page
- The detail level lists all "best practices" and measures associated
with a particular indicator; there are from zero to 16 practices/measures
per indicator. Each indicator has its own detail page. The detail page
also repeats the indicator description and evaluative statement, so it
can stand alone without reference to the summary level. You can reach the

- The detail pages for a few indicators link to longer narratives
with even more information about the topic. Most of these are are also
written to stand alone--they include everything in both summary and detail
levels. Narratives available:

detail, and narrative levels. These sites provide additional information
on programs, assessments, and the like.
