Tips on faculty subfields Excels
- Deadline Tues 1/30
- No, we cannot add anyone to the faculty lists now
- Not everyone on your NRC faculty list will necessarily be in your subfields Excel. Don’t worry!
People like Chris Braider, in comp lit and French, are in one and only one Excel (French), but are still
on the NRC faculty list for both. You can see the entire faculty list for each program at
http://www.colorado.edu/pba/nrc/ShowFacLists.xls
- Don’t pick one of the entries in the pulldown in all caps, like LIFE SCIENCES.
Those are NRC “broad areas” not legal for entry on the “subfields” items.
- The full NRC taxonomy is in the Utility tab of the Excel; you can use Excel’s search
facility to search it. Background:
