Affirmative Action Program for Faculty and Staff

Role of the Affirmative Action Advisory Committee

This standing committee is chaired by the Director of Institutional Analysis, Office of Planning, Budget, and Analysis. Other members include other Planning, Budget, and Analysis staff with responsibilities in this area, representatives of campus divisions, and representatives from the Department of Human Resources, Legal Counsel, Faculty Affairs, and the office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Community Relations.

The committee has been instrumental in developing analysis methods used in the program, especially identifying feeder or pool sources for various job titles. The institutional analysis area of the Office of Planning, Budget, and Analysis carries out all quantitative analyses.
