General Information
Visitors to campus may park without prior arrangement in the Euclid AutoPark and at parking meters and pay stations located throughout campus. Additional options may be available during your visit depending upon the time of day and whether or not CU is hosting a large event.
If your visit involves bringing more than four vehicles to campus, call our Special Events Parking section (303-492-7384) for parking arrangements.
Temporary Permits
Temporary permits are available in three time increments. You may purchase them at the PTS Customer Service window at 1050 Regent Drive. Payments accepted are credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express), checks and cash. Visit our temporary permit page for more information.
Euclid AutoPark
The Euclid AutoPark (EAP), located between Broadway and 18th Street (east of the UMC) is open from 7:00 a.m. to midnight each day. From 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, the EAP parking rate is $1.75 per hour up to three hours. After three hours, the rate is $3.00 per hour. The parking fee is $3 from 5:00 p.m. until midnight each weeknight and all day Saturday and Sunday. EAP accepts payment by check and cash.
Meters
Basics
- The hourly rate at grey meters is $1.50 payable from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week.
- The maximum time available on a meter varies. A sticker on each meter lists the maximum time allowed.
- Meters accept coin and meter debit card payments. Meter debit cards, sold in $50 and $100 increments, are available in the PTS business office. Unused time paid with a meter debit card can be credited back to the meter debit card at single meters only.
- Please report meter problems to us at 303-492-7384, and please be aware that parking at a malfunctioning meter is a parking violation on our campus.
Accessibility Meters
Blue meters are for persons with disabilities. A state issued disability license plate or placard must be displayed. The rate is $1.50 per hour, and the meters must be paid from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week.
Red Service Meters
Red meters are for service and delivery parking. While visitors may park at red service meters, at $3 per hour, they are intended to assure quick turnover. Service meters must be paid 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Parking Pay Stations
- The parking pay station rate is $1.50 per hour.
- All pay stations accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), meter debit cards, and coins. Some pay stations also accept bills. Sorry, meter debit cards cannot be credited with unused time at pay stations.
- Please refer to signs on pay station or at lot entrance for hours of enforcement.
- Please report pay station problems to us at 303-492-7384. We are happy to assist.
Pay by Phone
You can now pay for your parking by phone. This service is available in several of our lots. Advantages include:
- No coins needed.
- Less chance of parking fines thanks to text message expiration reminders sent to your cell phone.
- Receive consolidated parking expense reports online.
- Get parking receipts by email.
To pay by phone, you will first need to create an account with Verrus. Select the “Sign Up For Verrus” button. Once you have created your account, call 1-866-234-PARK (7275), enter the location number (printed on the sign at the pay station), and the number of minutes you wish to park. Please keep in mind that maximum parking times still apply when using the Pay by Phone option.
