Motorcycle permits

Motorcycle permits for the CU-Boulder campus are available at the PTS customer service window. A valid motorcycle registration for motorcycles over 49cc and a photo ID are required at the time of purchase. Permits are available with a choice of expiration dates at an approximate cost of $14.25 per month.

Motorcycle permits are free to off-campus students, faculty and staff who have a current vehicle permit. We assume that only one vehicle will be parked on campus at a time.

Campus residents may have both a vehicle permit and a motorcycle permit, but they must pay for both permits as both vehicles will be parked on campus at the same time.

There are two types of motorcycle permits, and they cost the same. One permit is lot-specific. Motorcycles displaying these permits may park in their assigned lot AND all circle M lots. The other permit is a circle M lot permit, and it allows motorcycles to park in only circle M lots. Motorcycles with a circle M lot permit may not park in the lot-specific motorcycle lots.
