Summer Events

Many events are hosted on campus over the summer months. For a list of current ones, visit CU's Events Calendar. Not every event host has made parking arrangements with Parking & Transportation Services (PTS). If you have parking questions, contact the event coordinator or call us at 303-492-7384.

Ralphie's Indendence Day Blast
Enjoy Ralphie's Independence Day Blast on Friday, July 4th, 2008 at Folsom Field. Park on campus for free. Lots open at 6:00 p.m., and attendants will be on-hand to direct you. ADA-accessible parking will also be available on campus. Another option is to take the bus--the Hop and Buff Bus will provide free rides from downtown and 29th Street. The Colorado Shakespeare Festival
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival runs from June 20th - August 16th, 2008. Performances take place at the Mary Rippon Theatre (outdoors) and the University Theatre Main Stage (indoors). A complete schedule is available at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival's website.

Events attendants will be at the entrances to lot 380 (University to Macky Drive to Pleasant Street) and the Euclid AutoPark to direct parking. Parking costs $3.00 after 5:00 p.m. and on the weekends. The Colorado Shakespeare Festival provides additional parking details on their website.

Fiske Planetarium
Fiske Planetarium hosts lectures and laser light shows throughout the summmer. Their website provides excellent parking information. To view it, click here.
