CarShare Option on Campus

PTS and eGO CarShare, a local non-profit, have collaborated to provide a campus carsharing service available to students, faculty and staff. Three vehicles are located in the UMC/Farrand Field areas. Three more are located at outlying housing areas with one each at Bear Creek, Williams Village and Newton Court. Members may use any of the 23 vehicles in the eGo fleet: eight cars in Denver, six on our campus, nine elsewhere in Boulder including a pick-up truck stationed at McGuckin Hardware.

CU departments may set up an account for their employees to carshare on university business, and individuals may easily create a dual account for personal and/or business needs. This program complements Transportation Services' lease program, which is only for university business.

Getting Started

To sign up for a membership visit eGo CarShare's website. Applying online is fast and easy. Review the eligibility criteria, then pick the account category that best matches your needs. Once your membership is approved (based on your driving record), simply complete the Online Orientation. When you’re done, you will get a personal key fob to access the shared cars.
