The Buff Bus

The Buff Bus is a Housing and Dining Services sponsored and PTS administered service for students living in residence halls. The Buff Bus shuttle connects students who live in Williams Village/Bear Creek with the Main Campus. The Buff Bus also shuttles residents of College Inn to Main Campus dining facilities at meal times. The Buff Bus operates each day and night throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. View the Buff Bus schedule.
Williams Village Route
The Williams Village route has two loops through campus. One runs west on Colorado Avenue in a counterclockwise direction. The other runs clockwise from starting at Regent Drive and Colorado Avenue. See map below.
Hours
(Hours indicate first and last departure of the day from Williams Village.)
| Monday-Friday | 06:48 a.m. – midnight |
| Saturday and Sunday | 10:00 a.m. – midnight |
Buses run most frequently between 7:19 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. Buses run less frequently when there are fewer riders, typically before 7:19 a.m. and after 8:07 p.m. Detailed information on bus headways and estimated departure times will be posted soon.

College Inn Route
The Buff Bus also shuttles residents of College Inn to Main Campus dining facilities at meal times.
Hours
| Monday-Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., every 15 minutes |
| Sunday-Friday | 5 p.m. - 12 a.m., every 15 minutes |

Football Game Days
On game days, the Buff Bus alters its route four hours before the game to one hour after the game. The route runs clockwise, and stops at Williams Village, Kitt (drop-offs only, by request), Regent at Fiske, Regent at Colorado, and Bear Creek.

Reduced/No Service
The Buff Bus transit service does have periods of reduced service or no-service.
If you are a permit holder who lives on main campus but parks at Williams Village, and you plan to remain on campus through one of the periods of no service, call us at 303-492-7384 so we may help you access your vehicle more conveniently.
Typical periods of reduced service: the week before classes start, finals, and campus emergency closures.
Typical periods of no service: Labor Day, fall break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, spring break, and summer.
Buff Bus Rules
Our passengers contribute to our efficiency and everyone’s safety by observing our rules while riding the Buff Buses:- No alcohol, smoking, drugs, or illegal activity are allowed
- No pets, bicycles, or flammables
- Do not ask driver to stop at unauthorized locations
- For your safety, do not chase after the bus
- Be courteous – it’s simple!
- listen to the driver
- stay behind the white line
- allow passengers to unload before loading
- use trash receptacles
Lost and Found Items
If you believe you have lost an item on a Buff Bus, please call our office at 303-492-7152. Items submitted to us will be held in lost-and-found for 30 days.
