The CU Parents Association (CUPA) is administerd by the
CU Office of Parent Relations and supported by a board of directors. The board is an
active group of parent volunteers who meet on campus regularly during
the academic year and is very active in the facilitation of Parents Association
programs such as Family Weekend, increasing participation in the Parent Fund, grant recipient selection, and scholarship reviews as well working with university administrators to make the college experience better for our students. We are always looking for enthusiastic parents to join the board and make a difference at CU! CU CUPA Board members who are non-residents of the state of Colorado are expected to attend a minimum of one regular board meeting in the fall semester and one in the spring semester; to participate in Family Weekend; to serve as a CUPA liaison or CU Parent Club nucleus in their home town; and to contribute to the Parent Fund. Meeting dates for academic year 2009-2010 are: August 22, 2009, September 12, October 17 at the University Forum, November 14th, December 5th, February 6, April 3, and May 1. Most meetings take place in the University Memorial Center (UMC) starting at 8:30 AM.
