Summary of Costs
Note: The following costs
apply to College of Arts and Sciences and Leeds
School of Business students only.

First-year and
first-year transfer students
- Students who will live in residence halls in the fall — no
cost for the program, overnight accommodations, or meals.
- First-year students who will live
off campus in the fall — $91.75
will be placed on their fall bill for
overnight accommodations and meals.
Parents/Guests of first-year and
first-year transfer students
- Please reserve and pay for your session at only after your
student's orientation session has been confirmed.
- First-year parent program fee ($38 per person — includes
lunch in the residence halls on the first day, and a special
luncheon on the second day). Walk-in parents/guests are accepted
(space permitting), but advance reservations are strongly encouraged.
- While you're here in June, don't
miss the first-year Parents Dinner
sponsored by the CU Parents Association
(evening of the first day — $20
per person — reservations
required). This dinner is not available
in August.
- Overnight on-campus accommodations
for parents/guests are limited, so
make reservations early. Optional overnight
housing per person, including tax and
breakfast on the second day ($55 per person double
occupancy; $62 single occupancy — payable
online only).
- Program and dinner fees are payable online only.
- Early arrival/late departure per person including tax ($26.96 per person double occupancy; $34.23 single occupancy; payable online).
- Refunds of parent program fees are not possible at any time, but guest reservations are transferable within a family.
- Refunds for Parents Dinner/overnight accommodation fees are possible only if cancellations
are received in writing by CU Conference Services at least two
weeks before the date of the reservation. Requests can
be faxed to CU Conference Services at 303-492-5959.
Upper-division
transfer students
- No cost for the program
- Optional overnight orientation housing per person including tax ($55 per person double occupancy, payment is required at orientation housing check-in—not available in August, includes breakfast on the
second day).
Parents/Guests of upper-division
transfer students
- A limited program is offered for parents of upper-division transfer students. No cost for the program.
- Optional overnight orientation housing

- Refunds for optional overnight accommodation fees are possible only if cancellations
are received in writing by CU Conference Services at least two

Everyone
Parent overnight housing fees must be
paid online by VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Diner's
Club, or American Express prior to your arrival
at the designated residence hall for
orientation housing check-in.
