The Optional New Student Welcome Day is a one-day program you can choose as an additional part of your New Student Welcome Experience. While this is optional for all incoming students, we encourage incoming first-year and transfer students to join us on campus to connect with academic advisors, faculty, student organizations and the departments that will support you and your family as new members of our community. There is no cost to attend the day program and each student may bring one guest.
The goals of our optional New Student Welcome Day are to introduce you to academic resources and opportunities that will support your academic endeavors, engage you with campus history and introduce you to other new incoming students and families, and connect you with the campus-wide resources that will support your health, belonging and well-being during your CU Boulder journey.
To ensure that guests have a good experience, New Student Welcome Day space is limited. There is no cost for students to attend and each student may bring one guest. Please register early to ensure your space. Walk-in space is not guaranteed.
To register for an event, students must log in to their MyCUBoulder account. After you have logged in, click the ‘Visit CU’ tab, then click on ‘Register for an Event.’
Following registration, an email confirmation will be sent to the student’s email address, closer to the event, an email with more information about where to park, location and directions.
First things first: students must have a MyCUBoulder account to register. If you forgot your username or password, you may reset them.
