College of Music Orientation
for the College of Music will be August 19-21. New incoming music students
will receive registration materials at their home address by the second
week of June. Students will have access, on specific dates, to register
for fall 2008 classes beginning mid June through the end of July via
web registration at cuconnect.colorado.edu.
Fall orientation for all new music students will be August 19-21. It begins with general university sessions in the afternoon of August 19. There will be a meeting for all new music students on August 20 at 1:00 in the Imig Music Building, room C-199. All sessions are mandatory. Students will take a placement exam in music theory and aural skills. We will discuss policies and procedures and distribute important materials. Additional events during the orientation period will include ensemble auditions, studio placement for voice majors, piano interviews for non-keyboard majors, locker check-out, and practice room access.
