Step 1) Reserve Your Orientation Session

To make your orientation reservation, you will need your student ID number (SID).

Most students are notified of their SID and their 4-digit PIN (personal identification number) after they’ve applied to the university. Your SID is an assigned generic number. If you don’t know your SID, you can obtain it as follows:

If you have set up your identikey account on choosecu.colorado.edu, log in to that website.
Your SID is displayed in the right-hand column.
If you are having difficulty setting up your IdentiKey account or need additional assistance regarding your SID (or your PIN), call the registrar's office at 303-492-6970 (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

You should set up your IdentiKey account and password as soon as possible and make sure to keep this information secure. You will use your IdentiKey and password to access most online services at CU.

Reservation Instructions

Verify your information (including major).
Please check your student information carefully on the reservation site to ensure it is accurate.
Choose your orientation session.
Detailed information about requirements and registering for classes will be mailed beginning in early summer or given to you at your orientation session.
You will receive a confirmation packet in the mail approximately one week after you submit your request.
If you need to change your orientation date after you have made a reservation, call the Office of Orientation at 303-492-4431 (local) or 877-313-6979 (toll free U.S. and Canada).

	When you complete your reservation request, use the Move on to Step Two button on the top of the reservation screen to continue.
