We offer you our expertise in support of constructive decision making, a successful faculty career, and collegial university relationships. Please inquire about individual coaching, mediation or facilitation of a difficult conversation with any other member of the university community, or referrals to other university resources.
We are the only faculty office dealing with workplace problem solving that is confidential and independent of formal administrative structure. We hold what you share in strictest confidence. We are not required to report any matters you discuss, unless there is an imminent threat of serious harm.
We are the ideal place to begin dealing with workplace concerns or to address complex issues involved in conflict management. We offer a safe environment where you can discuss issues, explore options, obtain information, get help in navigating the system, think out loud about important career transistions, and brainstorm about effective ways to express concerns within the university workplace. We also offer mediation and facilitation services.
We operate according to the Ethical Principles and Standards of Practice established by the International Ombudsman Association (IOA). Please click here to learn more about the IOA's Standards of Practice.
