The following documentation will show how to activate your primary Identikey account using Identity Manager.
Go to https://cuidm.colorado.edu and click on the Activate Your IdentiKey button.
Read through the policy and check mark the box at the mark to certify that you've read through and agree to the policy. Then click on the Continue button.
In the next menu, select your affiliation: Student, Faculty/Staff, or Sponsored Affiliate.
Enter your personal information and click Continue.
*Note: International students that don't have social security numbers can enter a PIN number in the designated field to authenticate. If you don't know your PIN number, contact the IT Service Center.
Once authenticated, you will be prompted to answer a set of authentication questions. Select at least three questions to answer. If you ever need to reset your IdentiKey password, you will be prompted to answer these questions as part of the authentication process.
After you've provided answers to at least three authentication questions, click on the Continue button.
Next, you will be prompted to set a password for your account. Pay close attention to the password requirements on the page. If unsuccessful, you will be asked to try again.
Once you've set a password that meets the requirements, your account will be activated and your CU Login Name will be displayed. Write this down and then click on the Continue button.
You will be returned to the login page. Now you can log in to Identity Manager to set your display name, outgoing address, etc.
Your CU Login Name and IdentiKey password should now be active. Return to Identity Manager to change passwords or adjust your online identity in the future.
After your IdentiKey has been activated, you should be able to access IdentiKey services such as MyCUinfo, CULink, and OIT computer labs.
