Gmail - Configure Outlook for Mac

This tutorial demonstrates how to configure Microsoft Outlook 365 for @colorado.edu Gmail accounts on macOS.

Step

In Outlook, open the Outlook menu and select Preferences. Click the Accounts icon, then click the plus (+) sign to add a new account.

Step

Enter your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu in the email field and click Continue.

Step

Enter your IdentiKey password then click Sign in.

Step

The sign in should fail. In the upper right corner click Not Office365?

Step

Click Google.

Step

Click Continue.

Step

Enter your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu address in the email field (not first.last@colorado.edu), then click Next.

Step

Enter your IdentiKey password, then click Next.

Step

If prompted, review permissions and click Allow.

Step

Click Allow to open Outlook.

Step

Click Done. Your email is configured and messages will begin syncing.
