Exchange - Share Your Calendar in Entourage 2008 WSE

Overview

You can allow your calendar to be seen by others with Exchange. They have to open your calendar on their computers, however to see this. Learn how at "Open a shared calendar," in the next section.

This tutorial applies to the following operating system(s):
  • MAC

Step 1

Open Entourage 2008 Web Services Edition. Click on the Calendar button.

Click on the Calendar [Exchange] option. Right-click and select Sharing from the drop-down menu.

Click the Add User… button from the pop-up window.

Step 4

Type in the name/ID that you want to give permissions to. Click the Find button, then select the correct name from the list. Click OK.

Step 5

Make sure that the new user has been selected. Click the Permission Level: drop-down menu. The most common permission level is Reviewer. Select the desired level.

Step 6

The Reviewer level allows the user to read your items, view your calendar folder, but they cannot edit or delete items. Click OK when you have finished setting the desired permissions. The new user can now open your calendar as a shared calendar.

Note: You might also want to set the Default user to Reviewer if you have a lot of users who would need to view your calendar.
