Exchange - Configuration for Outlook 2011 Clients Already in Use

Outlook 2011 and OIT's Exchange service go hand in hand. Outlook 2011 is part of the Office 2011 productivity suite, which can be acquired through CU-Boulder's Microsoft Campus Agreement.

These instructions for people who are already using Outlook 2011, and want to configure their program to access an Exchange account.

Exchange Online Migration

Starting February 2015, campus units and departments began being migrated to Exchange Online, on an individual basis. If your department has been migrated, please visit the Exchange Online service area for more information.

Step 1

From the Tools drop-down menu, select the Accounts...

Step 2

Click the + button and select Exchange... from the drop-down menu.

Step 3

In the Email address: field enter your email address. Then in the User name: your CU Login Name. In the Password: field, type in your IdentiKey password. Click the Add Account button.

Step 4

On the Accounts screen that opens click the Advanced... button.

Step 5

On the Server tab, find the Server field where it has entered.

Step 6

Delete the dc.12 so that all that is entered is as seen below

Step 7

Click OK and close the Accounts window.
