Apple's mobile devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) use ActiveSync to interact with OIT's Exchange service. With Exchange configured, you will be able to view the account's various mailboxes, and create custom mailboxes.

Connection instructions work for both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2003 accounts. Screenshots are from an iPad. Steps apply to all three devices.

Minimum requirement: iPhone firmware 7.x or higher.

This tutorial is operating system independent.
