The following documentation demonstrates how to export your final grade book and format the .CSV file for upload into the Registrar's web grading system at the end of the semester. The Registrar's web grading system only accepts letter grades for students, so a change to the Letter Grades grading scheme may be necessary. To learn more about Grade Schemes please visit the Understanding Grade Schemes page.
To change your courses grade scheme to Letter Grades:
*NOTE: Be sure to double check that values for Letter Grades are consistent with the values you decide for your course (e.g. A = 94%-100%). To learn how to create your own custom grading scheme visit the Understanding Grades Schemes page.
Open the .CSV in Excel.
Save the file in the CSV (Windows Comma Separated) format. Give your file a short name (e.g. JOUR1001-100.csv), as Web Grading can occasionally produce an error message if a file name is too long. Once you have named your file you can upload it to Web Grading.
