Overview

The following documentation shows the process of placing a Zoom web conference link within a D2L course.

There are a few different ways to add a Zoom link. To jump to a section click one of the following links:

This tutorial is operating system independent.

Step 1

Add as Content Topic

Within your desired course, select Content.

Step 2

Click on the module where you would like to place the link, in the left-side menu.

*Note: Links can be created in the initial Table of Contents view, but it is generally easier to place once selecting from the left-side menu.

Step 3

Click the New drop-down, then select Create a Link.

Step 4

Enter a name for your meeting in the Title field, then place the link for your meeting in the URL field.
 

Step 5

Click the Create button.

Step 6

Your Zoom content topic link is now created.

Step 7

In the Description field of a D2L tool, click the link icon.

Step 8

Click Url.

Step 9

Enter a name for your meeting in the Title field, then place the link for your meeting in the URL field.

Step 10

Click the Insert button.

Step 11

The link will now be placed in the Description field.
