The University of Colorado specifies just how Master's theses and Doctoral dissertations should be organized and formatted. The file "thesis.cls" (version 1.11, April 2010) contains the definitions needed to make the LaTeX2e class format your thesis to conform to these specifications.
A quick way to use thesis class is to edit existing LaTeX source files. Here are sample files showing thesis class organization and macros, plus the documentation for thesis.cls.
The file "thesis.cls" does not support hyperlinks within an electronic document. Please note, the Graduate School doesn't allow external hyperlinking (i.e., to web pages). Only internal hyperlinking is allowed, so that a dissertation is self contained.
