ChemDraw is the drawing tool of choice for creating professional and meaningful drawings of molecules and reactions. It is intuitive and easy to use, and takes only a few minutes to learn the basics.
ChemDraw Prime 15.1 is available for both Macs and Windows computers.
ChemDraw is a site license, there is no fee to faculty, staff, and students at CU-Boulder.
Licenses are available to all departments, faculty, staff and students
on the Boulder campus, including personal computers.
Go to http://sitelicense.cambridgesoft.com/sitelicense.cfm?sid=588 and submit your colorado.edu email address. From that website you can download ChemDraw for your computer, and receive the necessary serial number and/or registration code via email.
For licensing multiple computers in a computer lab, contact email@example.com.
Those currently using version 15 will need to uninstall it to upgrade to version 15.1.
FAQs, notes, and a full user manual for ChemDraw (PDF form) are available when you log in to the above account, or from the Desktop Support tab at http://www.cambridgesoft.com/software/chemdraw/.
