Overview

OIT provides no-cost basic web space for departments, student groups, faculty, staff and students, as well as fee-based advanced hosting. You can learn more about these and other related services below or ask for a no-cost web consultation.

Core Services Who May Get It Features
Legacy Web Publishing Departments, SOFO approved student groups, faculty, staff, and students No-cost basic web publishing on one of colorado.edu servers
Hosted Web Applications Departments, faculty, and staff Fee-based advanced web application hosting on Linux or Windows servers for web applications developed by your internal staff or an external vendor.
Custom Websites Departments and SOFO approved student groups. Fee-based advanced Drupal websites developed by University Communications and hosted on WWW NG infrastructure.
 Extra Services    
SSL Certificates Server and application administrators SSL and code signing certificates provided through a universitywide contract with Comodo

Google Sites allow you to build web sites not hosted on the colorado.edu domain.
Desire2Learn contains extensive web publishing tools for course support.
Qualtrics is an online survey tool.
Web workshop is a half day event that happens every 6 months to bring the web community together (next workshop planned for October 2014).
