Desire2Learn is CU-Boulder's online learning environment. Two types of Desire2Learn courses can be requested:
Learn how CU-Boulder faculty are using D2L to achieve learning and teaching objectives, and engage students.
At this time, direct access to D2L courses is not available through MyCUInfo.
Desire2Learn was upgraded to version 10.2 in preparation for the start of the 2013-14 academic year. Learn what is new in D2L 10.2.
The Office of Information Technology (OIT), with guidance from a faculty-led review committee, undertook an extensive risk analysis and audit of Desire2Learn after catastrophic outages that occurred during the 2012-13 academic year. The goal was to determine whether CU-Boulder should continue to use D2L’s hosting services, host D2L ourselves, or migrate to another OLE. A description of these activities and the findings can be found in the Desire2Learn Outage Review, Evaluation and Strategic Path Forward section of this service.
