Overview
The Content and Course Builder tools both allow you to organize materials in D2L. Content lets you and your students access files including Office files, PDFs, and HTML documents for the course. The Course Builder lets you access and organize those content items along with discussions, quizzes, and other D2L items.
The Content tool is used to organize course materials, such as the syllabus, lecture notes, readings, etc.
The Content tool enables you to create, edit, organize, and delete modules and topics in your course. Using the Content tool you can:
- create and edit the modules and topics that make up the course curriculum
- bring course content in from existing sources and export it for reuse later
- change the way Learning Environment displays your course’s content
- link course topics to existing discussion topics
