If you are using D2L this semester, here are some suggestions about how to communicate that to your students. Students will most likely have courses that use CULearn too. This might cause confusion for them so your communication could be very helpful.
- Add information about it to the syllabus. Here is some text you could use:
This semester we will be using a new tool call Desire2Learn (sometimes referred to as D2L) which will eventually be replacing CULearn. We will be using it to <<fill in the blank>>.
To access D2L, go to: https://learn.colorado.edu/.
You can log-in to site using your IdentiKey username and password.
Once you log-in, click on our <<course code and title>> to go into our course.
