Faculty Computer Purchase Program - Help

How to Order A Computer and Get Reimbursed

  1. Are you FCPP-eligible this year?
  2. Make sure you order a computer which meets OIT's hardware requirements for new computers. All Apple and Dell choices in the CU Marketplace meet these requirements.
  3.  Order your computer through CU Marketplace. Your department staff can assist with this.
  4. When you have ordered the computer, submit the relevent information online at the FCPP reimbursement request form.
  5. Get confirmation of your request from FCPP.
  6. Your computer comes with full support from OIT either via your department's Dedicated Desktop Support (DDS) team or through General Desktop Support (GDS). If you have DDS, you may submit a request to set up your computer via the DDS portal: http://desktopsupport.colorado.edu. Otherwise, you may call 303-735-4357 (5-HELP from a campus phone) to schedule your computer setup with GDS. Your technician will help migrate your data and set up your software.
