Walk-in Desktop Support, also known as the Student Desktop Support Technicians Walk-In Centers, provides support to all campus affiliates for university and personally owned computing equipment on a first-come, first-served basis at our walk-in centers in the Telecommunications Building and in the Norlin Commons.
Walk-in Desktop Support is provided as a common-good to the campus which means there is no direct cost to you or your department.
This service is available to all campus affiliates with a Buff OneCard on a first-come first-served basis.
Walk-in to either the Telecommunications Building or the Norlin Commons and sign in with your Buff OneCard at the Student Desktop Support Technician Walk-In Console.
Visit the Walk-in Center website to view operating hours and waiting times.
Walk-In Desktop Support will consult on hardware and software upgrades, utilizing other OIT services or on other topics related to personal computing technologies.
