UCB Wireless - Connect on a Mobile Device

Mobile devices that have Wi-Fi capabilities, like Apple's iPhone or iPad, and most smartphones running Android OS, Palm OS, and Blackberry, can connect to UCB Wireless.

Please Note:

The CU-Boulder campus network registration service is being upgraded. The rollout of the new network registration process is happening in phases across the campus on both the wired and wireless networks. Learn more on the Network Registration project page.

The instuctions below explain how to connect to UCB Wireless via different mobile devices:

Android Connection Instructions

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wireless & Networks.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi settings.
    • Make sure that Wi-FI is turned on.
  4. Tap UCB Wireless.
  5. Tap Connect.

Apple iPhone Connection Instructions

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Slide the Wi-Fi selector to the ON position. Then, tap the UCB Wireless network once available.

Blackberry Connection Instructions

  1. Select Manage Connections.
  2. Select UCB Wireless.

Windows Phone Connection Instructions

  1. From the main screen tap the right arrow as shown in the screenshot to the left.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. With Wi-Fi turned on tap UCB Wireless.
