Microsoft Office 365 is a cloud-based suite of solutions that includes Exchange Online as the email and calendaring environment, as well as collaborative office applications such as Office Web Apps, SharePoint, and Lync Online.
CU-Boulder is currently in Phase II of the Email and Calendaring plan, which focuses on the migration of faculty, staff, and retiree email accounts from the campus Microsoft Exchange server to Exchange Online. In addition, as part of this phase, all CU-Boulder constituents (including students and alumni) will be provided access to Microsoft Office 365's collaborative tools such as Office Web Apps, SharePoint, and Lync Online.
