Forwarding Your Mail with Gmail

You are encouraged to use the campus-provided Gmail service, but if you prefer to use a different email service, you should change your email delivery location using CU-Boulder Identity Manager. If you want to consolidate a personal Gmail account with your CU-Boulder Gmail account, you may use Google's Mail Fetcher tool. The email client configuration instructions below can be used to help you to manually move messages from one Gmail account to another.

Enabled Applications

The core applicaitions that all campus affiliates recieve are Calendar, Groups, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites.

Students, retirees, alumni and some other affiliates (not faculty and staff) recieve Gmail as their default email application.

In addition to the core applications mentioned above, CU-Boulder has enabled many other applications that are not considered "core" by Google. For a descriptions and help information for all campus enabled applications please visit the Google Application Descriptions page.

*Note: Not all Google provided applications are enabled on the CU-Boulder campus, due to a variety of factors. For more information on these factors, please visit the Enabling Google Applications for CU-Boulder page.
