December 2007 and prior graduates

I graduated before Spring 2008 and never opted-in to E-mail for Life. Can I still opt-in or get my colorado.edu e-mail address back?

At this time, graduates that didn't opt-in to Email for Life, shortly following their graduation, do not have the ability to get their colorado.edu email address back.

I graduated before Spring 2008 and opted-in to E-mail for Life. Do I get my Google account back?

Not at this time. This current program is for Spring 2008 graduates and beyond.

I graduated before Spring 2008 and opted-in to E-mail for Life. How do I change my forwarding address?

You can use Identity Manager to set your email delivery location.

May 2008 graduates and beyond

Do I have to opt-in?

No. Starting with the May 2008 graduating class, graduates are automatically enrolled in the Email for Life program.

How long do I get to keep my colorado.edu address?

For life! This is a benefit you receive as a graduate of CU-Boulder.

How do I access my colorado.edu e-mail messages?

At this time, graduates can use our Google Mail service which is accessible via a web client and email programs like Outlook. To log into Google, use your CU login name and IdentiKey password.

How do I change my password?

You will be using your CU login name and IdentiKey password to access your email via Google and you will use Identity Manager to change your password.

Can I forward my account to a different address?

Yes. You can use Identity Manager to set your email delivery location. Learn how to make that change.

Which colorado.edu e-mail addresses will I be able to receive e-mail at?

Any colorado.edu email addresses that you were able to receive mail at before you graduated. This includes firstname.lastname@colorado.edu andloginname@colorado.edu.
