General FAQ
CU Login Names are generated automatically by Identity Manager and consist of the first two letters of your first name, the first two letters of your last name, and four random digits. If you have a new legal name, the letters in your login name can be changed to reflect your new legal name. Please contact the IT Service Center for assistance with this process. More substantial changes to your login name (such as the removal of the digits) are not accommodated at this time.

You can reset or change your IdentiKey password using Identity Manager.
You will use your IdentiKey to access a variety of IT resources on campus including e-mail, computer labs, learning management systems, and CU-System Portals like myCUinfo.
Your IdentiKey is a combination of your CU Login Name and a unique password set by you. CU Login Names are created automatically by OIT and composed of the first two letters of your first name, the first two letters of your last name, and four random digits. Passwords have to meet our security requirements.
