Student Training on Application Technology (STAT) is a service designed for CU-Boulder students that offers instruction on a variety of software applications.

STAT offers assistance via one-on-one drop-in help, small groups or by appointment.


STAT provides students with high-quality learning opportunities on various applications for both personal computers and mobile devices. STAT can provide training one-on-one, in small groups, or by direction to online resources.

STAT offers training on the following topics:

  • Mac OS X Mountain Lion & Mavericks
  • Microsoft Windows 7 & 8
  • Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint 2010, 2011 & 2013
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs)
  • Prezi
  • Campus services (Printing, VPN, Desire2Learn, and more)


STAT is provided as a free service to all CU-Boulder students

This service is available to all CU-Boulder students.

How To Get It

Visit the STAT walk-in center at the Norlin Commons help desk in the Norlin Library during our business hours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
