Zoom is a web conferencing tool that unifies cloud video conferencing, online meetings, and collaboration into a single intuitive platform. Zoom's extensive feature set, broad compatibility with desktop and mobile devices, and multi-layered security allow CU-Boulder to have rich web conferencing experiences with both campus affiliated and unaffiliated users.
All campus affiliates have access to a basic account by using Zoom's login with Google functionality (Pro accounts available by request). To begin using the tool, sign in at the Zoom.us login page using the sign in with Google link and logging in with your @colorado.edu Google account. Then download the Zoom application. Zoom web conferencing is provided at no cost to CU-Boulder affiliates.
All campus affiliates have access to a basic Zoom account with their CULoginName @colorado.edu account, using Zoom's sign with Google option.
A limited number of Zoom Pro accounts are available for CU-Boulder, which allow unlimited meeting time. To request a Pro account please fill out the Pro account request form. Additional functionality (e.g. larger meetings, webinars, standards-based videoconferencing) can be requested through the Add-on Features request form.
