Courtney Fell is a Spanish teacher turned ed-tech guru who works to push the limits of online learning environments. A proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Courtney graduated from the George Washington University in Washington, DC as magna-cum-laude with double majors in Hispanic Literature and Latin American Studies. In 2007, she received her Master’s in Hispanic Languages and Literature from UCLA.
Courtney first came to CU-Boulder in 2007 as a face2face Spanish Lecturer and later transformed her class using a hybrid and flipped format. From 2011-2014, Courtney led ALTEC’s Foreign Language Technology Program and collaborated with CU language instructors to enhance students’ cultural and linguistic experiences with technology. Courtney joined OIT in 2013. Her work with the ATDT has been centered around personalizing the student experience.
When not on campus, Courtney likes to read, garden, travel, and support Colorado’s local music scene.
