The Office of Information Technology (OIT) and University Communications will be rolling out the newly redeveloped www.colorado.edu website on Wednesday evening, January 4. As a result, www.colorado.edu and some associated services (see Services Affected below) may be unavailable while traffic is rerouted to the new site.
During the rollout visitors to www.colorado.edu may encounter a brief interruption in service while the content switch moves content from www legacy to www next gen. It is expected that this interruption will be brief; however, if problems are encountered during the switchover, www.colorado.edu could be unavailable for a number of hours. Some secondary services which rely on www.colorado.edu for content may have missing content and/or images while www.colorado.edu is offline.
