OIT will upgrading the hardware that hosts the CU-Boulder Cisco VPN service the morning of March 27, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. This upgrade will bring several improvements to the Cisco VPN service including high availability and site diverse design; support for Mavericks 10.9, Linux 64-bit, and Windows 8; and resolution of known security issues. During the one-hour upgrade maintenance window, the Cisco VPN service will be unavailable.
Note: This work was originally scheduled to take place the morning of Tuesday, March 25, but was postponed in order to address issues encountered during testing.
During the one-hour upgrade maintenance window, the Cisco VPN service will be unavailable. Workaround: Alternate VPN services, such as the Web-based VPN service located at https://cuvpn.colorado.edu, will not be impacted.
