CANCELED: Service maintenance to upgrade the CU-Boulder VPN service tomorrow morning has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a future date. OIT will reissue this service alert once a new date has been chosen.
OIT will upgrading the hardware that hosts the CU-Boulder Cisco VPN service the morning of March 25, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. This upgrade will bring several improvements to the Cisco VPN service including high availability and site diverse design; support for Mavericks 10.9, Linux 64-bit, and Windows 8; and resolution of known security issues. During the one-hour upgrade maintenance window, the Cisco VPN service will be unavailable.
During the one-hour upgrade maintenance window, the Cisco VPN service will be unavailable. Workaround: Alternate VPN services, such as the Web-based VPN service located at https://cuvpn.colorado.edu, will not be impacted.

If you currently use the Cisco VPN client, we strongly recommend that you visit our VPN website to download the latest Cisco VPN client called "AnyConnect" after the upgrade has taken place (this client won't be available for download until March 25).
