In order to prevent hardware damage, OIT is moving the servers supporting the OIT Soils Lab, OIT Magellan Computational services, and OIT Simlab Computations services to alternate locations to avoid overheating due to an unexpected air conditioning outage. The physical server moves will begin today, January 8, at 11:00 a.m. and are expected to take approximately six hours to complete. During this time, these three engineering services will be unavailable.
During the six-hour maintenance window, OIT Soils Lab, OIT Magellan Computational services, and OIT Simlab Computations services will be unavailable.
Service alerts are posted for planned service maintenance and unplanned service outages.
