Service Restored: Microsoft Exchange

The campus Microsoft Exchange service will undergo maintenance on Friday, October 12 starting at 10 p.m. to update the configuration for MAPI connections. This work is expected to be completed by 11 p.m.

Impact

During the maintenance, connections to the Exchange service that use MAPI will fail. Most campus clients make connections to Exchange using RPC over HTTPS (this is how OIT documentation recommends clients be configured); these connections will be unaffected by the maintenance.
