Student Printing and Scanning
Student Printing and Scanning is a campus-wide initiative that is available for students, faculty, staff and public patrons to print and scan documents from many convenient locations across the CU-Boulder campus. Refer to the information below to learn how to use the campus printing and scanning service.
About Printing and Scanning
With over 100 printing stations around CU-Boulder's campus, printing your documents has never been easier. Students, faculty, staff and public patrons can either print from one of OIT's computing labs, or from their personal computer using the remote printer driver associated with their desired print location.
Currently, only traditional printing (as described above) is available throughout campus; however, the ability to print via a mobile device will be implemented during the 2013 Spring semester. To learn more, click one of the options below:
Where Can I Print?
CU-Boulder has over 30 buildings that has printing and scanning stations located around campus. To find one of these stations:
- Black and white and color printing in OIT computing labs
- Multi-function devices with the ability print or scan documents
- Print release station that queues your print job
- Students, faculty, and staff pay using Buff OneCards
- Public patrons pay using Campus Cash Cards
- Remote printing is available from your own computer in your residence hall, office, or over the wireless network.
- The job will be secured in the print-release station for 24 hours.
- Use OIT printers to save money on your own printer, ink, and paper.
- Few remote printer driver packages to ease the process of printing from a personal computer
The cost associated with printing/copying is as follows:
- B&W: First side of print $.10/second side of same sheet $0.09
- Color: $0.50/page
Students receive a set amount each semester in print quota.
How to pay:
